Randall Sakamoto, O.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Sakamoto is originally from Chicago, IL. He graduated from the University of Michigan earning his Bachelors in Psychology. He received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. In April 2000, he received a Ph.D. in Medicine from Tokyo Women's Medical College, Tokyo, Japan. He has practiced in a variety of locations: Chicago, Honolulu, San Jose, and most notably for 17 years in Tokyo, Japan. He returned to Honolulu in 2003.
Dr. Sakamoto enjoys spending quality time with his patients. He strives to provide the best service possible with a personal touch. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Diamond Head and the Honolulu Executive Association. His professional memberships include the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the AOA, Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the AAO, OrthoK Society of America, American Society of Corneal Refractive Therapies, Association of Researchers in Vision and Ophthalmology, Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmology, British Contact Lens Society, Japanese Contact Lens Society. |
